BUILT FROM ZERO.REBUILT WITH PURPOSE.
Real guidance from someone who's lived it.
WHO I AM
I'm Lawrence. I'm not a financial advisor who studied money from a textbook. I'm someone who lost everything — a business, a home, cars, jobs, and a decade of my life — because of circumstances that were put on me, not chosen by me. I've been through bankruptcy, rebuilt my credit from nothing, resolved tax debt that the system made nearly impossible to fight, and did all of it while caring for my mother full time with zero income and zero safety net.
I know what it feels like to sit in a room wondering how you're going to make it through the month, let alone plan for the future. That's exactly why I built Aquantium Financial Systems — not for people who have it figured out, but for people who are in the middle of the chaos right now and need someone who actually gets it. No judgment. No condescending advice. No bill you can't afford. Just real guidance from someone who's lived it, researched it, and came out the other side — and wants to help you do the same thing faster than I did.
WHY I DO THIS—AND WHO IT’S FOR
I do this to help good people get structure, regain control, and move forward with confidence — on their terms. Not perfect. Not rich overnight. Safe, clear, and stable.
Because when your finances are organized and you understand what you're doing, everything changes. Your stress drops. Your options open up. You start building the life you actually want.
You're a good fit if you want:
Clarity and structure, not hype
A plan you can follow in your real life
Someone who explains things in plain English
Support that helps you implement, not just talk strategy
Because I know what it feels like when none of those things exist. And I know exactly what it takes to get them back.
HONESTY ISN'T A VALUE I TALK ABOUT. IT'S A NON-NEGOTIABLE I LIVE BY.
HOW THAT SHAPES MY APPROACH
I don't give generic advice. I don't tell you what sounds good while doing something else behind the scenes. I've been lied to by people I trusted professionally — and it cost me everything. So honesty and transparency aren't values I talk about. They're non-negotiables I live by.
Over the years I didn't just recover — I researched, tested, and documented what actually works in the real world. I used those tools to rebuild my own life and now I use the same structure to help you do it faster, without the same trial-and-error or wasted years.
When we work together you work directly with me — one on one. My full attention. Judgment free. No e-books promising overnight wealth. No monthly subscription newsletters. No social media hype. I don't fall for those things and I wouldn't insult you by offering them.
And even after we're done — you're always welcome to call.
35 YEARS OF REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCE. NOT THEORY. NOT TEXTBOOKS. REALITY.
MY BACKGROUND
35 years in the New York hospitality industry — running high volume operations where cash flow, staffing, vendor relationships, and daily financial decisions weren't theory. They were survival. I understand money under pressure because I managed it under pressure every single day for three and a half decades.
That experience taught me things no classroom ever could. How to read a financial situation quickly. How to make decisions under pressure with incomplete information. How to manage cash flow when the margin for error is zero. How to rebuild when everything falls apart.
I didn't study finance. I lived it. Every single day for 35 years.
What matters most — I've lived it, rebuilt it, and I know exactly how to help you do the same.
I KNOW WHAT THE BOTTOM FEELS LIKE. I ALSO KNOW THE PATH BACK UP.
WHAT I WENT THROUGH — AND WHY IT MATTERS
I want to tell you something most financial advisors will never say.
My collapse wasn't the result of recklessness or irresponsibility. It came from someone else's greed. After Superstorm Sandy forced my restaurant to close temporarily for rebuilding, my accountant continued filing sales taxes on a business that wasn't operating — knowingly, deliberately. The consequences were severe. It led to a $6 million bankruptcy and five months where I could barely get out of bed.
When another person's dishonesty destroys your finances, your confidence, and your sense of security — it changes how you see everything. And everyone. That experience forced me to rebuild from the inside out: my systems, my priorities, my relationships, and my trust. I came back with structure, accountability, and a level of resilience I didn't know I had. Integrity and transparency became non-negotiables in every relationship — personal and professional.
That's why I do this work. Because I know what the bottom feels like, and I know the exact path back up.
LETS WORK TOGETHER
If you see yourself in any part of this story — if you're overwhelmed, behind, or just need someone to help you make sense of where you are financially — reach out. The first conversation is free. There's no pitch. No pressure. Just an honest conversation about your situation and whether I can help.
You pay what you can afford. That's not a gimmick. That's the whole point. I'm not here to add to your financial stress. I'm here to help you reduce it.
One conversation can change the direction of everything.
