The single most powerful thing you can do as an investor is start — with whatever you have — and stay consistent. A small amount invested every month for twenty years outperforms a large amount invested perfectly almost every time.

Truth 3 — The Best Investment You Can Make Right Now Might Not Be in the Stock Market
Investing in yourself — your skills, your business, your financial education — often generates a higher return than any stock or fund.
A skill that increases your income by $500 a month is worth more than most investment portfolios for someone starting out. A business that generates $1,000 a month in passive income is worth more than a savings account.
